CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Sophomore Katie Mann (Prince George, British Columbia) was named the America East Women's Swimmer of the Week Tuesday afternoon as announced by the conference.
Mann earned a total of four victories in UNH's 161-121 win over the University of Rhode Island on Saturday. She touched the wall first in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:05.74 and in the 200-yard breast (2:19.71), owning the top time in the conference. She took gold in the 200 IM (2:06.54) and swam the second leg of the record-setting 400 medley relay team that broke the Swasey Pool record after notching a time of 3:53.46.
The Wildcats will rest up until Nov. 30 for the start of the three-day Brown Invitational at Coleman Aquatic Center in Providence, R.I.
