DURHAM, N.H. – University of New Hampshire women's swimming & diving head coach Josh Willman announced the program's schedule for the upcoming 2012-13 season Tuesday afternoon.
The squad kicks off its season with a home meet for the first time since 2010 as they take on Boston College (Oct. 13 – 6 p.m.). New Hampshire then hits the road for a trio of away meets, starting with Vermont (Oct. 20 – 2 p.m.). Northeastern will be next to host the Wildcats Oct. 27 (1 p.m.) while Bryant will be the last stop as UNH takes on the Bulldogs and Central Connecticut in a dual meet (Nov. 3 – 2 p.m.).
New Hampshire returns home for a meet the following weekend as the team hosts Rhode Island at Swasey Pool on Nov. 10 (1 p.m.). The team will conclude the first half of the season at the three-day Brown Invitational (Nov. 30-Dec. 2) in Providence, R.I.
The 'Cats start the second half of the season Jan. 16 when they host Dartmouth for a night meet (6 p.m.). New Hampshire hits the road again as it travels to defending conference champion Boston University (Jan. 21 – 1:30 p.m.). In the final meet before the America East Championships, the Wildcats will square off against boarder rival University of Maine on Feb. 1 (5 p.m.).
After a short break, New Hampshire will head north to Maine for the America East Championships at Wallace Pool in Orono. The series kicks off Feb. 14 and concludes Feb 17.
