BOSTON - The University of New Hampshire women's swimming and diving team tied Boston University, 150-150, on Saturday, November 1. Sophomore Shannon Daly (Brightwaters, N.Y.) posted victories in four events including the 1000-yard, 500 and 200 free as well as the 400 freestyle relay. Also winning multiple events tonight was junior Melissa Lague (Salem, N.H.), who took first in the 200 medley relay, 100 and 200 backstroke, and the 200 individual medley.

Joining Daly in the winning 400 free relay were Kristen Nardozzi (St. Petersburg, Fla.), Christine Harvey (Plaistow, N.H.) and Amanda Paul (Reston, Va.). Paul placed third in the 200 free. Nardozzi took second in the 100 back while Harvey placed second in the 50 free.

Senior Ashley Fish (Fairview, Pa.) posted the fastest time in the 100 butterfly and second in the 200 fly. Rookie Michelle Garnsey (Apple Valley, Minn.) had two second-place finishes on the night in the 100 and 200 breaststroke. Amanda Crawford (Hillsdale, N.J.) and Amy Roberts (Boxborough, Mass.) each finished runner-up in their events, the 1000 free and the 500 free, respectively.

The Wildcats return to action Saturday, November 15th at home against Colgate and Vermont. The meet is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
