SCOUTING NEW HAMPSHIRE: The Wildcats (3-6-2, 1-0-1 AE) are coming off a grueling 0-0 double overtime draw at Binghamton University in their last match. Goalkeeper Erica Correa (Cheshire, Conn.) made five saves en route to securing her second shutout of the season while UNH rifled 12 shots in the match. Freshman Kirstyn Corder (Overland Park, Kansas) led the offensive attack for the 'Cats with three shots while Kelsi O'Neil (Hampton, N.H.), Drea Nogueira (New Bedford, Mass.) and Gabrielle Sloan (Stow, Mass.) each notched two shots. The Wildcats are currently third in the America East Rankings with a 1-0-1 record through two games of conference play.
SCOUTING HARTFORD: The Hawks (6-2-3, 2-0-0 AE) are coming off a 4-1 victory over UMBC in their last contest. Hartford took an early lead in the third minute of play, however the Retrievers tied the score at 1-1 just eight minutes later. Hartford then pulled away with three unanswered goals, garnering its sixth win of the season. Amelia Pereira scored twice in the match for Hartford while Caitlin Alves and Elise Galipo also tallied goals. Keeper Erin Quinlan saved four of the five shots that she faced.
UP NEXT FOR NEW HAMPSHIRE: The Wildcats will return to the pitch Tuesday, Oct. 2 when they take on Harvard. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
