New Hampshire women’s lacrosse signs four recruits

DURHAM, N.H. – Sandy Bridgeman, the eighth-year head coach of the University of New Hampshire women’s lacrosse team, announced Tuesday that four student-athletes have signed a National Letter of Intent to join the UNH women’s lacrosse program in the fall of 2004.

“I am truly excited about this year's recruiting class,” Bridgeman said. “They are a very talented group of student-athletes who exhibit the determination and competitive attitude that defines New Hampshire lacrosse. I have no doubt they will have a significant impact on our program for the next four years.”

Robyn Bishop (Columbia, Md.) is a midfielder coming to UNH out of River Hill High School. She is a scholar athlete who received All-County honors in 2003 and also plays for the Hero’s club team.

Bailey Mazur (Longmeadow, Mass.), a midfielder from Longmeadow High School, was a 2003 First Team All-Western Mass. selection. She was also named to the Lower New England 1 team and plays for the CTLF club team.

Cara McKee (Middlebury, Vt.), the younger sister of former Wildcat and current assistant coach Maggie McKee, plays both midfield and defense at Middlebury Union High School. She competed at the U.S. Lacrosse U-19 Trials and her honors include Upper New England 1, Vail Shootout All-Star and Team Player Award. McKee is a National Honor Society member who plays for the Green Mountain Girls club team.

Ashley Milley (Sudbury, Mass.) plays goalkeeper at Lincoln-Sudbury High School. She is a 2003 Boston Globe All-Scholastic selection and plays with McKee on the Green Mountain Girls club team.
