Faber scored two goals in both of last weekend's games vs. the University of Connecticut - her first multiple-goal games of the season - and also recorded an assist in Sunday's 6-0 victory vs. the Huskies. In last Friday's road game, Faber gave the Wildcats a 2-0 lead with a first-period power-play goal and it proved to be the game-winning tally in UNH's 5-1 victory. Faber also factored into Sunday's game-winning goal with an assist on the team's first goal. She netted another first-period power-play goal - to give the 'Cats a 3-0 lead this time - and struck again in the third to match her career high of three points. Faber extended her goal-scoring streak to seven games and point-scoring streak to 11 with her five-point weekend.
Faber enters the week ranked No. 14 in the nation in points per game (1.27), No. 13 in assists (0.73 apg) and No. 25 in goals (0.53 gpg) as well as fourth in rookie scoring with her 1.27 ppg average. She is third on the team in points (28) and assists (22) as well as fourth in goals (16). Faber leads the team -- and all of Hockey East -- in plus/minus with a +34 rating and is tops on the team in shorthanded goals with two. In addition, she ranks third in shooting percentage at .176 (16 goals/91 shots).
