Wright-Ward scored the game-winning goal with 45 seconds remaining in regulation to lift UNH to a 2-1 win vs. sixth-ranked Mercyhurst College (Jan. 27), then recorded a goal and assist in the Wildcats' 7-2 win vs. No. 10 Providence College (Jan. 29). She scored the team's first goal vs. PC, which tied the score 1-1 in the second period, and assisted on the team's last goal to cap the final of seven consecutive UNH goals. Wright-Ward won 32 of 49 faceoffs on the week and extended her goal-scoring streak to four games and point-scoring streak to 12.
Wright-Ward leads the team in goals (19) and is No. 4 in the nation at 0.79 goals per game. She is second on the team in points (30) and is No. 15 in the nation in points (1.25 ppg). Her six power-play goals is tied for the team lead and that number ranks 10th nationally. In addition, Wright-Ward is one of two Wildcats to reach double digits in both goals and assists, is ranked second on the team in plus/minus (+24), has a team-high 109 shots and is third in shooting percentage (.174).
She has recorded a point in 18 of 24 games this season with 12 multiple-point efforts and her season highlights include matching her career high of two goals four times, most recently Jan. 22 vs. the University of Connecticut.
In 60 career games, Wright-Ward has compiled 29 goals and 20 assists for 49 points.
