New Hampshire women's ice hockey game vs. U.S. National Team is televised

DURHAM, N.H. - This Saturday's exhibition game between the University of New Hampshire women's hockey team and the U.S. National Team will be broadcast live by New Hampshire Public Television and WTSN-AM radio. Game time at the Whittemore Center is 2 p.m.

Fans in attendance are encouraged to "White out the Whitt," as they have done in support of the UNH men's hockey team in recent years. A Team USA jersey will be autographed by the 2000-01 U.S. National Team prior to the game and raffled off during the third period. Fans will also have the opportunity to compete in the Mercedes Shootout. Two contestants will be chosen from a drawing and the winner advances to the final round, which will take place Saturday night at the New Hampshire vs. Providence men's hockey game, for the chance to win a Mercedes.

The U.S. National Team features six UNH alums - Karyn Bye ('93), Tricia Dunn ('95), Brandy Fisher ('98), Sue Merz ('94), Nicki Luongo ('99) and Carisa Zaban ('00) - and enters the game with a 33-1-0 record and a 24-game winning streak.
