BOSTON, Mass. – Junior John Prizzi (Wyckoff, N.J.) finished 24th overall as the University of New Hampshire men's cross country team placed seventh at the Boston College Invitational Friday afternoon.
Competing against teams such as eighth-ranked Wisconsin and ninth-ranked Syracuse, the 'Cats finished the meet with 211 points to take seventh of 14 teams. Prizzi, the top finisher for New Hampshire, finished with a time of 25:00 for 25th of 140 runners. Senior Kent Harlow (Burnt Hills, N.Y.) took 41st overall as he crossed the finish line with a time of 25:26.
Junior Zachary Chabot (Manchester, N.H.) came across in 45th with a result of 25:33 while tri-captain junior Jeff Moretti (Guilford, Conn.) finished 49th with a 25:38 time. Classmate Jeremy Wildgoose (Woodstock, Conn.) and Luke Miller (Birdsboro, Pa.) came in 52nd and 53rd with times of 25:43 and 25:44, respectively.
The Wildcats are back in action Saturday, Oct. 5 at Lehigh to take part in the Paul Short Invitational in Bethlehem, Pa. The race is set to start at 10 a.m.
