Men's Cross Country Finishes 12th at ECACs

BRONX, N.Y. – Senior Andrew Dionne (Westerly, R.I.) and junior Alex Beaulieu (Merrimack, N.H.) finished 34th and 35th, respectively, as the University of New Hampshire men's cross country team placed 12th at the 102nd ICAAAA Championships at Van Cortlandt Park on Saturday afternoon to wrap up its season.

The Wildcats, who were the second highest America East finisher, ended up with 256 points, while Temple University won the 20-team meet with 111 points.

Dionne completed the five-mile course in a time of 26 minutes, 40.6 seconds, while Beaulieu was right behind at 26:41.4.

Senior Michael Peabody (Londonderry, N.H.) and freshman Joseph Jourdain (Hudson, N.H.) placed 53rd and 56th, respectively, in times of 27:00.7 and 27:04.6.

Sophomores Kent Harlow (Burnt Hills, N.Y.) and David Gervais (Nashua, N.H.) were 88th and 94th, respectively, in times of 27:35.9 and 27:44.9.

Sophomore Michael Ryan (Dallas, Pa.) rounded out the Wildcat scorers, finishing 126th in the 172-runner field in a time of 28:29.5
