LISET HONORED AS AMERICA EAST FIELD PERFORMER OF THE WEEK
BOSTON – Junior Reed Liset (Dover, N.H.) of the University of New Hampshire men’s outdoor track and field team has been selected for a second time this season as the America East Field Performer of the Week. It was announced on Tuesday (May 1).

Liset was victorious and broke a 20-year school record in the discus at the University of Massachusetts Invitational on April 28. The junior posted a 165-1 mark in the discus. Liset broke UNH alum Ed McCabe’s record of 163-5 set in 1987. In addition to the record setting day, Liset also placed fifth in the shot put and sixth in the hammer throw to help lead the Wildcats to an overall second place finish.

Liset looks to break his own record and help his team capture an America East Conference championship at UMBC on Saturday (May 5).
