Hanover, N.H.-- The University of New Hampshire men's track and field team took part in the Dartmouth Invitational on Sunday and took home a plethora of top five finishes.
Jared Burke (Salem, N.H.) took home first place in the pole vault with a height of 15 feet , while teammate Greg Hillson (Glastonbury, Conn.) finished in third with his 14'00.00" effort. Hillson also finished in a four way tie for first place in the high jump with a leap of 6'02.00". In the hammer throw Chad Weathers (Conway, N.H.) and Mike Puzzo (East Hampton, Conn.) finished second and third with respective throws of 157'06.00"" and 148'02.00" Joil Bergeron (Keene, N.H.) took home a second place finish in the discus with a 143'06.00" effort and Ben Blakesley finished fourth in the javelin with a 177'09.00" throw.
The next men's action is May 6 when they travel to Northeastern for the America East Championships.
