RESULTS

BOSTON – Senior Bobby Edgerton (Cornish, N.H.), the only competitor for the University of New Hampshire men’s indoor track and field team at the Terrier Classic, broke a nearly 20-year-old school record Saturday afternoon at the Track and Tennis Center.

Edgerton placed first in the 1,000 meters by more than a second, finishing in two minutes, 23.82 seconds to break the old record of 2:24.74 that was set in 1990.

Edgerton and the Wildcats return to action Saturday, Jan. 31 at the Harvard Invitational at the Gordon Track Center.
