MEN'S INDOOR TRACK AND FIELD FIFTH AT HARVARD INVITATIONAL
RESULTS

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.
– Senior Robert Edgerton (Cornish, N.H.) placed first in the one mile run as the University of New Hampshire men’s indoor track and field team placed fifth at the Harvard University Invitational on Jan. 26 at the Gordon Track and Tennis Center.
   
Edgerton finished the race in a time of four minutes, 10.54 seconds.
   
Sophomore William Brehm (Pembroke, N.H.) and freshman Gabe Dano (Merrimack, N.H.) placed fourth and fifth, respectively, in the 200 meter dash. Brehm finished in 22.68 seconds, while Dano clocked in at 22.88. Brehm was also ninth in the 400 meters, finishing in 50.70 seconds, while senior Travis Parker (Fairfax, Va.) finished just ahead of him in 50.20 seconds. Dano also placed seventh in the 60 meters, finishing in 7.19 seconds.
   
In the 800 meters, freshman Jacob McDougle (Walpole, N.H.) placed fifth in a time of 1:56.32.
    
Freshman Ben Casey (Merrimack, N.H.) finished the 60 meter hurdles in 8.64 seconds and placed seventh.
   
On the field side of things, junior Pat Casey (South Yarmouth, Mass.) submitted a fifth-place showing in the high jump with a leap of 1.94 meters.
   
In the shot put, freshman Brice Paey’s (Milton, Mass.) toss of 15.16 meters placed him seventh.
   
The Wildcats return to action Friday, Feb. 1 at 5 p.m. when they take part in the University of Rhode Island Mega Meet at Mackal Field House.
