MEN'S INDOOR TRACK AND FIELD FINISHES THIRD AT DARTMOUTH
RESULTS

HANOVER, N.H.
– Senior Travis Parker (Fairfax, Va.) grabbed two of his team’s four first-place finishes to lead the University of New Hampshire men’s indoor track and field team to a third-place finish at the Dartmouth Indoor Invitational on Saturday at the Leverone Field House.
   
The Wildcats (89) finished behind Dartmouth College (184) and Brown University (180), but ahead of the University of Vermont (51) and Quinnipiac University (17).
   
Parker finished first in both the 200 and 400 meters, finishing in times of 22.40 seconds and 49.96 seconds, respectively. Freshman Gabreal Dano (Merrimack, N.H.) and sophomore William Brehm (Pembroke, N.H.) placed third and fourth, respectively, in the 200. Dano finished in 22.51 seconds, while Brehm finished in 22.62 seconds. In the 400, Brehm was fourth in a time of 50.37 seconds, while junior Ben Stein (Canton, Mass.) placed seventh in a time of 51.28 seconds. Dano was also fifth in the 60 meters, finishing in a time of 7.19 seconds.
   
On the field side of things, sophomore Patrick Casey (So. Yarmouth, Mass.) grabbed victory in the high jump with a leap of 1.98 meters. Freshman Benjamin Casey (Merrimack, N.H.) was fourth with a jump of 1.83 meters. Ben was also fourth in the 60 meter hurdles, finishing in a time of 8.71 seconds.
   
Sophomore David Dreyer (LeRoy, N.Y.) placed first in the pole vault, clearing a height of 4.73 meters.
   
Freshman Brice Paey (Milton, N.H.) placed third in the shot put with a toss of 15.29 meters.
   
Senior Reed Liset (Dover, N.H.) finished fifth in the weight throw, posting a distance of 16.02 meters.
   
Back on the track, UNH grabbed second in the 4x400 meter relay, submitting a time of 3:29.43.
   
Freshman Christopher Janczyk (Bristol, Conn.) placed fourth in the 500 meters, finishing in a time of 1:08.80.
   
In the 3,000 meters, sophomores Patrick Rush (Nashua, N.H.) and Wesley Moseman (Remsden, N.Y.) finished fifth and sixth, respectively. Rush finished in 8:54.53, while Moseman finished in 8:54.73.
   
The Wildcats return to action at the America East Championships on Feb. 22-23 at the Track and Tennis Center in Boston.
