MEN'S INDOOR TRACK AND FIELD 11TH AT NEW ENGLAND CHAMPIONSHIPS
COMPLETE RESULTS
BOSTON, Mass.-
The University of New Hampshire men’s indoor track and field team placed eleventh out of thirty-two teams at the New England Championship at Boston University this past Friday and Saturday. The winner of the meet with 149 points was the University of Connecticut.
    In the 800 meter run Robert Edgerton (Cornish, N.H.) took first with a time of 1:52.39, as Douglas Mercer (Laconia, N.H.) placed third (1:03.76) in the 500 meter dash.
    The 4x400 meter relay team, propelled by Mathew Begley (Brookeville, Md.), William Brehm (Pembroke, N.H.), Andrew Bessolo (Groton, Mass.) and Travis Parker (Fairfax, Va.), earned sixth place (3:17.34) for the Wildcats.
    Patrick Casey (So. Yarmouth, Mass.) took the tenth spot in the high jump with a measurement of 1.92m. In the rest of the field events Thomas Neil () garnered ninth in the shot put (15.12m) and Jeffrey Kaste (Atkinson, N.H.) took fifth (17.21m) in the weight throw.
   The Wildcats return to the oval on Saturday (March 3) to compete at the ICAAAA's in Boston.
