MEN'S INDOOR TRACK AND FIELD POST STRONG SHOWING AT IC4A'S IN BOSTON
COMPLETE RESULTS
BOSTON – The University of New Hampshire men’s indoor track and field team recently participated in the 86th annual IC4A’s held in Boston on March 3-4 as the Wildcats posted yet another successful championship meet.
            UNH was led by junior harrier Robert Edgerton (Cornish, N.H.), who placed 11th overall in the 800 meter run (1:52.81). Wildcat sophomore Jeff Kaste (Atkinson, N.H.) delivered a 13th place effort in the weight throw (55-7) and the UNH distance medley relay consisted of Matt Begley (Brookville, Md.), Robert Stiles (Southbury, Conn.),  Ben Danton (New Milford, Conn.) and David Nayes (Eden Prairie, Minn.) captured 17th overall (10:08.01).
            In the sprinting events, freshman William Brehm (Pembroke, N.H.) raced to an 18th place finish in the 200 meters (21.95), while teammate Douglas Mercer (Laconia, N.H.) posted a 22nd place effort in the 500 meters (1:07.00). UNH junior Jordan Horwitz (Evanston, Ill) notched a 17th place finish in the 5000 meter run (14:33.10) to round out another successful meet for the Wildcats.
