UNH Men’s Track takes fourth out of 16

DURHAM, N.H. —The University of New Hampshire men’s track and field team finished fourth on Friday at the Adidas Boston Indoor Games held at Northeastern University, beating out 12 other regional programs.

The Wildcats were led by distance runner Tim Perry (Bethel, Conn.) and jumper David Ball (Orange, Vt.), each taking second in their respective events. Perry finished the 5000m run in 14:48.30 and Ball cleared 6-08 in the high jump to lift the Wildcats to a well earned fourth. The distance medley relay team also finished second to earn the ’Cats eight points.

Host Northeastern took the meet with a score of 117.33. The University at Albany was second with 108, followed by Southern Connecticut (91.33) and UNH (53.50).

Next up for the men is the University of Rhode Island Mega Meet on Saturday, Feb. 7.
