Men's Track and Field's Jumpp Places 37th At NCAA Regional Meet
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Senior thrower George Jumpp (Manchester, N.H.) of the University of New Hampshire men's track and field team recorded a 37th-place finish for UNH on the second day of the NCAA Regional Meet on Saturday afternoon at the University of North Florida's Hodges Stadium.
Jumpp, a hammer thrower for the Wildcats, logged a toss of 187 feet and 8 inches on the afternoon to capture 37th place. The senior qualified for the meet with a personal-best measurement of 197-09 during a fifth-place performance two weeks ago at the ECAC/IC4A Championships.
Junior John Prizzi (Wyckoff, N.J.) will close out competition for the Wildcats at the NCAA Regional Meet on Saturday afternoon when he competes in the 3,000-meter steeplechase event. To follow along live click HERE.
