4x800 Relay Shines for Men’s Track and Field on Final Day of Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA - The University of New Hampshire men's track and field team got a top-eight performance from its 4x800-meter relay team on the final day of the 118th annual Penn Relays at Franklin Field.

The 4x800 relay squad of freshman Christopher Poggi (Derry, N.H.), freshman Drew Piazza (Danvers, Mass.), junior John Prizzi (Wyckoff, N.J.), and senior Eric Stys (Stittville, N.Y.) earned a seventh-place finish for the Wildcats. The quartet logged a time of 7 minutes and 34.13 seconds to take fourth.

The Wildcats return to action on Saturday, May 3rd when they compete at the America East Outdoor Championshps at the Frank H.
