DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire track and field teams will be hosting a clinic on March 16 and 17 at the Paul Sweet Oval and the Reginald Atkins Outdoor Track at the UNH Field House. Each day will have its own two-hour session beginning at 6 p.m. and ending at 8 p.m.
The clinic is open to all male and female athletes from the 7th to 12th grades and will include a learn-by-doing instruction with focus on the fundamentals of technique and training in sprints, jumps, hurdles, and throws.
The cost of the clinic is $80 if pre-registered before the March 15 deadline. Same day registration is also available for a price of $100 and will take place from 5:30-6:00 p.m. on March 16th. Furthermore, a team discount of $60 per person is available for teams that enroll five or more athletes.
The clinic will be run by UNH track and field director Jim Boulanger, UNH women's track and field head coach Casey Carroll, and UNH women's track and field assistant coach George Liset. Award-winning coaches Boulanger and Carroll, are both USATF Level II certified, while Liset is USATF Level I certified.
