CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – University of New Hampshire track & field seniors Will Brehm (Pembroke, N.H.) and Paul DeTurk (Durham, N.H.) from the men's team, as well as Ashlee Lathrop (Sherburne, N.Y.) from the women's side, each garnered weekly America East awards for the week ending April 11, the conference announced Tuesday. It is the second time in three weeks the Wildcats have earned three of the four weekly awards.

Brehm was named Track Performer of the Week after he won a pair of events at the Wildcat Invitational II on April 10. Brehm was first in both the 100m and 200m, with respective times of 10.70 and 21.94.

DeTurk picked up his second Field Performer of the Week honor this season with a win in the hammer throw at the Wildcats Invite II. DeTurk's mark of 60.06m is the best in the conference this year and ranks him 20th in the East region.

Lathrop, meanwhile, claimed her second straight Field Performer of the Week award – and third overall – after winning a pair of events for the third straight week. Lathrop won both the discus and the hammer throw at the Wildcat Invite II with ECAC-qualifying marks of 42.74m and 53.06m, respectively. Lathrop remains atop the conference standings in both events after improving both her tosses by over a meter.

The 'Cats return to action April 14-15 at the Holy Cross Heptathlon.
