Before UNH: Speelman played one year for the Green Bay Gamblers of the USHL… During the 2008-09 season, he registered 21 goals and 21 assists for 42 points in 57 games and was a +30… Prior to his season in Green Bay, Speelman played for the San Jose Jr. Sharks and participated in the USA Hockey National Select Festival from 2004-07.
