BRIAN POULIOT LEAVES MEN'S HOCKEY TEAM

DURHAM, N.H.University of New Hampshire men’s hockey head coach Dick Umile has announced that junior forward Brian Pouliot (Hooksett, N.H.) has made a decision to transfer to and attend New England College for the upcoming spring semester.

“We wish Brian the best of luck in his hockey career with the Pilgrims. We appreciate the contributions that he made to the men’s hockey program,” said Umile.

He dressed in both exhibition games on Oct. 7th vs. St. Francis Xavier and Oct. 14 against the United States Under-18 team.

In 53 career games as a Wildcat, Pouliot posted 12 points (5g, 7a) since arriving in Durham in the fall of 2004. Pouliot notched four points in his freshman season in 33 games and eight points in 2005-2006 in 20 contests.
