MEN'S HOCKEY RANKED NO. 2 NATIONALLY IN BOTH POLLS
    DURHAM, N.H.  – The University of New Hampshire men’s hockey team is ranked No. 2 nationally this week in both the USCHO/CSTV.com and the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine polls after two wins last week.
    The Wildcats defeated No. 4 Boston College, 6-3, last Tuesday night at Conte Forum and posted a 3-1 win at Northeastern on Saturday night at Matthews Arena. The ‘Cats jumped from their previous highest ranking of No. 8 in both polls last week, which marked their highest jump of the season in either poll.
    The last time UNH was ranked this high in either poll was Nov. 10, 2003, when they earned the No. 2 spot in both polls. The last time the Wildcats were ranked No. 1 in the nation was Oct. 20, 2003 in the USCHO poll.
