Gibbs' efforts contributed to two wins for New Hampshire against Boston University and the University of Maryland-Baltimore County last week. The wins allowed the Wildcats to claim sole possession of third place in America East.
Against Boston University, Gibbs was 1-of-4 from the field and 2-for-2 at the free throw line and registered two assists. Gibbs helped out defensively, pulling down two boards along with a block and a steal. The 63- 54 win for the Wildcats broke an 11-game losing streak against the Terriers.
Gibbs was 5-of-8 from the field and 1-for-1 at the line, registering a season high 13 points versus UMBC. Gibbs had two dishes and grabbed three rebounds. New Hampshire defeated UMBC 68-65 to win its sixth conference win of the season.
