Men's Basketball Falls To Lehigh, 77-54

DURHAM, N.H. — The University of New Hampshire men’s basketball team lost to Lehigh at Lundholm Gymnasium, 77-54, on Saturday.

Trailing 41-38 with 12:01 remaining, senior Colin Donahue (Des Moines, Iowa) missed a chance to tie the game when his three-point attempt bounced off the rim. From there, the Mountain Hawks went on a 18-1 run and led by 17 or more the rest of the game.

Junior Austin Ganly (N. Yarmouth, Maine) and freshman Marcus Bullock (Cherry Hill, N.J.) each had 11 for the ‘Cats (3-9). Lehigh’s Alex Jensen had a game-high 15 and Matt Logie chipped in with 13 for the Mountain Hawks (6-7).

In the first half, the Wildcats jumped out to a 9-3 lead but trailed 30-26 heading into the break.

Freshman Allen Gould (Grand Rapids, Mich.) scored 10 and pulled down seven rebounds for the ‘Cats.

UNH returns to action at Harvard on Monday. Tip-off is 7 p.m.
