DURHAM, N.H. – Seamus O’Neill (Manchester, N.H) of the football team and Lauren McCandless (Macungie, Pa.) of the women’s swimming and diving team were named the 2013-14 Jim Urquhart Student-Athletes of the year by the University of New Hampshire athletic department. The award was handed out on Tuesday night at the Senior Awards Banquet at Huddleston Hall.

Gymnastics Finishes Season with Top Ranking (No. 25) Since 1994
DURHAM, N.H. – The UNH gymnastics team finished the season ranked 25th in the nation, the program’s top year-end ranking since its best-ever No. 12 finish in 1994. The Wildcats, who won the second EAGL Championship in school history March 22 at the Whittemore Center, registered a 21-4 record and capped the year with a fifth-place finish in Saturday’s NCAA University Park Regional on the campus of Penn State University.
