LINDSEY BRUCK NAMED ASSISTANT WOMEN'S GYMNASTICS COACH
DURHAM, N.H.--Lindsey Bruck, a former gymnast and a 2008 graduate from the University of Michigan, has been named an assistant coach with the University of New Hampshire women’s gymnastics team. The announcement was made today by 30th-year head coach Gail Goodspeed.
  Bruck, who graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education and Health at Michigan, was a two-time All-American, a Honda Award finalist, a 2008 NCAA Woman Of The Year nominee, and a two-time NCAA Northeast Region Gymnast of the Year while with the Wolverines.
The 2008 Big Ten Gymnast of the Year was also a nine-time Big Ten Gymnast of the Week (tied for the Big Ten Record), a three-time All-Big Ten first team selection, a 2006 Big Ten Champion on balance beam and the all-around champion, a 2008 Big Ten Championship runner-up (Beam), and a 2005 Big Ten Championship runner-up (all-around and beam),
The two-time captain also holds the school record for the most all-around scores of 39.000+ by a sophomore (13), and was named to the 2004 All-Big Ten Second Team as a four-year letterwinner. 
Academically, Bruck was named an NACGC/W Academic All-American, an ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District first-team pick, a four-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree, and a four-time University of Michigan Athletic Academic Achievement recipient.  
Bruck comes to UNH with 21 years of experience as a gymnast.  During that time, she was a four-time JO national team member and trained and qualified as an international elite.
Over the past four years, she has gained valuable coaching experience at private clubs in Michigan and New York and at the University of Michigan’s Summer Camp. She also has experience as a physical education teacher at the elementary and high school levels.
“Lindsey is a phenomenal student-athlete and brings a wealth of competitive and coaching talent to our program,”said Goodspeed. “Her personality is upbeat and she is an exciting addition to our coaching staff.  We watched Lindsey compete at the private level and enjoyed watching her have a successful career at the University of Michigan.  She has been part of one of the best programs in the country and will help our gymnasts strive to reach their full potential.”
Bruck is a native of Syracuse, N.Y.
