CHANDLER, Ariz. – A total of five student-athletes on the University of New Hampshire field hockey team were named to the 2013 Gladiator by SGI/NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad on Tuesday, one day after UNH received the Division I National Academic Team Award.

Sophomore forward Meg Carroll (Mansfield, Mass.), sophomore goalkeeper Lexy Cole (Belgrade, Maine) and sophomore back Chandler Giese (Trappe, Pa.) were all repeat honorees from 2012.

Senior midfielder Casey Pohlmeyer (Millersville, Md.) made the Academic Squad for the first time in her four-year Wildcat career.
