DURHAM, N.H. – Pre-purchased parking for Boulder Field and A Lot, a new tailgating policy and a pregame fan festival for students and young alumni prior to each home game highlight changes announced by the University of New Hampshire to enhance the fan experience for the 2014 football season.
The implemented changes are designed to create a more family-friendly atmosphere to further engage alumni and benefit fans of all ages as UNH gears up for a new era to coincide with the construction of a new stadium in late 2015.
In an effort to improve traffic flow and reduce gridlock for home football games, the following changes are being administered for the upcoming season:
Fans wishing to park at Boulder Field must pre-purchase parking in order to get a guaranteed spot. UNH students will not be permitted to drive their vehicles into Boulder Field. All tailgating parking areas will open four (4) hours before opening kickoff, and tailgating will be allowed until the conclusion of halftime. A game ticket is required to park in tailgating areas. Tailgating is only permitted inside the parking areas –not while waiting in line to park.
