RICHMOND, Va. –Twenty-seven members of the University of New Hampshire football program have garnered the CAA Commissioner's Academic Award for the 2012-13 season. Student-athletes receiving this honor achieved at least a 3.20 grade point average based on semester performance or cumulative GPA.

In February, the UNH football program was recognized for placing a league-leading 24 members on the 2012 CAA Academic All-Conference Team, which is comprised of starters and important reserves with a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or better for their entire academic careers.
