DURHAM, N.H. – The Saturday, Nov. 17 football game between No. 7/7 University of New Hampshire and No. 19/16 Towson University, currently scheduled to be broadcast on tape delay by Comcast SportsNet New England (CSN-NE), will be televised live on WBIN-TV starting at 12 p.m. from Cowell Stadium, the CAA announced Friday.
CSN-NE, which is producing and broadcasting the game on tape delay (3:30 p.m.), reached an agreement with WBIN to offer the live telecast for New Hampshire viewers.
Joe Beninati and Andy Gresh will call all the action in a game that has major implications on the CAA football championship. With a victory, the Wildcats will claim their first outright league title since 1994 and earn the CAA's autobid to the NCAA Championship tournament. A Towson triumph would lead to a co-championship and open the possibility of other CAA teams sharing the league crown as well.
The 20-team NCAA Championship tournament field will be unveiled live Sunday, Nov. 18, at 1:30 p.m. on ESPNU.
