The son of Josa Long...born 12-3-87 in Springfield, Mass...majoring in Kinesiology/ Sports Studies.

At UNH
2009    • Expected to make a major impact as a starter on the defensive line.
2008    • Played in all 13 games  for the ‘Cats.
           • Tallied 43 total tackles with 14 solo efforts.
           • Notched three tackles for a loss of 10 yards, as well as one sack for a loss of eight.
2007    • Long added valuable depth as a backup on the defensive line.
           • Posted 25 total tackles (7-18-25).
           • Recorded 1.5 tackles for a loss.
2006    • Saw limited action, making five tackles (2-3-5).
           • Posted two tackles for a loss of 5 yds.
2005    • Redshirted the season.

Before UNH
• Lettered in football and track and field at Commerce High School.
• Helped lead his team to a Super Bowl championship in 2002 and 2002 at CHS.
• He was named All-Western Mass in 2003 and 2004.
