WILDCATS EARN TOP HONORS AT NCA CHEER CAMP

BOSTON - The University of New Hampshire cheerleading team attended the 2013 National Cheerleading Association (NCA) College Camp on Saturday, August 3 at Boston University with over 15 collegiate teams in attendance.  Joining the Wildcats from the America East, CAA, and Hockey East conferences were Boston University, University at Albany, University of Connecticut, University of Massachusetts and Towson University.

The Wildcats finished 1st overall in Game Day Cheer and 2nd in Rally Routine among all Division I – small co-ed teams at camp.

As a result of the team's superior performance, UNH was awarded one of four gold full-paid bids to compete at the NCA College Nationals in April of 2014.

In 2013 fellow CAA football member, Towson University, took home 1st place at the 2013 NCA Collegiate Cheerleading Championship with a score of 92.03. Although the Wildcats did not compete in 2013, UNH earned a 2nd place finish in 2012, the program's highest finish to date.
