Chappy Takes Down JP's Slapshot Challenge on Man v. Food Nation

DURHAM, N.H. – On Wednesday, July 20 at 9 p.m., the Portsmouth episode of the new show Man v. Food Nation premiered nationally on the Travel Channel. The show, which is hosted by legendary food competitor Adam Richman, features University of New Hampshire director of strength and conditioning Paul “Chappy” Chapman taking on the Slapshot Challenge at JP’s Eatery in downtown Durham.

Chappy, under the coaching of Adam, was able to successfully finish the mammoth 15 slider, large fry and large milkshake challenge in under 30 minutes. Also in the episode, Adam visits Portsmouth for a taste of some historical hot dogs, an outrageously loaded omelet and other local hot spots.
