DURHAM, N.H. -- College Colors Day 2013 is coming to the University of New Hampshire and is charging all alumni, current and incoming students, faculty, staff and UNH fans to show their Wildcat pride nationwide on Friday, Aug. 30, 2013.
College Colors Day coincides with both the back-to-school season in Durham and the kick off of your Wildcats’ 2013 football season. It is a national celebration that promotes the traditions and spirit that make college great by encouraging fans, alumni and students to wear apparel of their favorite college throughout the day on Aug. 30.
“It is the perfect day to show off your Wildcat pride on campus, at home or in the office. All you need to do is wear blue and white on Friday, August 30th,” said Dot Sheehan, Licensing Director for Athletics and Sr. Associate Athletic Director for External Relations.
Show your school spirit by wearing your Wildcat hats, earrings, T-shirts, ties, watches – anything blue and white – on Aug. 30th, and you’ll be part of one of the easiest yet most spirited holidays in America.
“Think of it as a dress rehearsal before the kick off of college football season and a reason to meet friends to talk about all UNH sports,” Sheehan added.
