Student-Athletes help Freshmen in Move-In Day

DURHAM, N.H. - Student-athletes from an array of the University of New Hampshire's 20 intercollegiate sports participated in Friday's annual Freshmen Move-In Day.

With the school year beginning on Monday, Aug. 26, approximately 3,000 students began their journey by moving into the dormitories with the help from student-athletes.

The campus also had several offices open across campus, including Admissions, the Memorial Union Building, Financial Aid, Housing, Business Services, Registrar's Office, and Dining.  The annual event also features a group photo of the Class of 2017.

Each year, New Hampshire student-athletes volunteer countless hours to help in the UNH, Durham and surrounding communities, while also fundraising for various charities. Classes officially begin on Monday, Aug. 26 at the University of New Hampshire.
