UNH AND WILDCAT SPORTS HOST WORKSHOP FOR NEW HAMPSHIRE BUSINESSES
DURHAM, N.H. -- The New Hampshire Department of
Resources and Economic Development and Public Service of New
Hampshire have teamed up with the University of New Hampshire and
Wildcat Sports Properties to host a gameday workshop, Wild for
Innovation, March 5, 2010, beginning at noon.
Wild for Innovation is designed to inspire and strengthen the core
of New Hampshire businesses through a daylong program of
presentations and classes on innovation, leadership and team
building.
The workshop will highlight a variety of innovative happenings on
campus to include an overview of EcoLine™, the
university’s landfill gas-to-energy project that will provide
up to 85 percent of the university’s energy needs; a tour of
the university’s newly renovated James Hall; team building
exercises; and the Green Launching Pad, a partnership between the
state and the university to connect entrepreneurs and private
industry with technical, scientific and business faculty and
students at UNH and statewide to successfully launch new green
businesses.
The $50 registration fee includes a BBQ tailgate party and a ticket
to the men’s ice hockey game vs. Boston College at 7:30 p.m.
