The purpose of the Hall of Fame is to recognize and honor those individuals (student-athletes, coaches and administrators) who have made significant contributions to the University of New Hampshire through their participation or involvement in athletics. All members of the Hall of Fame have a portrait hanging in the Field House at the University. Since 1982, the University of New Hampshire has inducted over 300 members to the Wildcat Athletics Council Hall of Fame.
To be eligible for membership in the Hall of Fame, an individual must have made a significant contribution to the University's athletic program, either through participation in athletics as an undergraduate or subsequent association with athletics. A candidate must have attended the University of New Hampshire as a student for at least two (2) years on at least one varsity team and be separated from the University as an undergraduate for at least five years.
To be eligible for Hall of Fame induction the alumnus/alumna should have earned an academic degree from the University or another accredited institution of higher learning.
