Amanda Temple was named Assistant Coach at UNH in September 2012.
Temple has served as a head cheerleading coach at Prime Time Allstars in Dover, NH starting in 2010. She has coached 10 teams over the past three years from level 1 to 6. This year her Prime Time Senior 4.2 team will be competing at Cheersport Nationals in Atlanta, GA. At Prime Time, Amanda also serves as a tumbling instructor for levels 1 to 5. In addition, Temple coaches the Spaulding High School Varsity spirit team. She started in 2010 and has helped successfully build the program. The varsity team competed at the state finals for the first time in 2011 and finished in 8th place.
Temple is a USASF member and attends the yearly seminar. She is certified through NFHS in Fundamentals of Coaching and Concussion Safety. Temple is CPR/First Aid certified. She attended NCA elite and college level camps for 9 years and was awarded All-American each year. She is now attending the camps as a high school coach.
Temple hung up her cheer uniform this year after a long, successful career. She competed on the Prime Time Allstars Open level 6 from 2010-2012. The team is currently undefeated since its beginning in 2010. Temple competed at NCA College Nationals 2007 and 2008 with the Northeastern University Division 1A Co-ed team placing 2nd and 7th respectively. At Northeastern her team supported Football and Mens/Womens Basketball. Temple competed with Maine Stars from 2001 to 2005 on their Senior and Open Level 6 teams. She was also a member of the Dover High School Varsity spirit team from 2001 to 2005 serving as captain from 2002 to 2005. The team won the NHIAA State Competition in 2001 and finished 2nd in 2005. Temple started her cheerleading career at the age of 10 on Dover Little Green.
Temple earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Northeastern University in 2010 and is currently coaching five cheer teams.
