Nicole Richard began her career in ticketing in 2004 when she was hired by Global Spectrum as the Box Office Manager of the Whittemore Center Arena to oversee ticket sales. She was hired by the UNH Athletic Department in June 2007 and was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director for Ticketing in July 2011.
Currently, Nicole oversees all aspects of tickets operations for the Athletic Department, as well as ticket operations at the Whittemore Center for various events booked by UNH Campus Recreation and the Student Committee on Popular Entertainment (SCOPE). She has served as the liason for ticketing between UNH and the Verizon Wireless Arena for all regular season games taking place in Manchester and for the NCAA Men’s Hockey Regional Tournament in 2007, 2009, 2011 and 2013. She also coordinated ticket sales for the Colonial Clash at Gillette Stadium in 2010 and 2011, and the Frozen Fenway games in 2009 and 2012.
Nicole earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a minor in Political Science from UNH in 2000. Upon graduation, she was hired by Fosters Daily Democrat Newspaper out of Dover, NH where she was a successful Advertising Account Executive. In 2001, she changed her focus to educational sales and was hired by Hesser College in Manchester NH as an Admissions Representative where her success earned her an induction into the President’s Club in 2001, 2002 and 2003 for the most enrollments. She was promoted to the Assistant Director of Admissions in 2004.
Nicole is originally from New Milford, NJ. She was awarded New Milford High School’s Female Athlete of the Year in 1996 for earning 10 varsity letters across 3 sports of which she was also a team captain. In 1995, she was a finalist for the state of New Jersey female scholar athlete award for excellence in athletics and academics. She was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2007.
Nicole currently resides in Dover, NH with her husband and daughter.
